サカモトナホ展に向けて

物を創る、その在り様は著しい技術の拡大で様々な方法でそれらがなされている。

アナログ　デジタル　云々は過去の話だ。が、そんな中　従来の手作りを、ある意味伝統を基盤にして
オブジェを創る作家と出会った。ひたすら自らの手作業で慈しむかの様に、東北地方の物作りの血をも
受け継いだチカラで創っている。今回の作品は３mに及ぶ聖鳥をテーマにした作品だ。
約５年に及ぶ制作。現代美術にあって、流行とは無縁のこの素朴な新鮮さと力、
そしてこの命のリズム、
大地の鼓動が際立つ作品が不思議な程に眩しい。

サカモトナホ作　聖鳥(benu)の前に立ってほしい。

そうして圧倒的なその内部のマグマのごとき鼓動を感じてほしい。

Towards the Sakamoto Naho Exhibition

The act of creating things, and the way it is done, has expanded significantly through various methods. The distinction between analog and digital is a thing of the past. In this context, I encountered an artist who creates objects rooted in traditional handmade techniques in a certain sense. With a power that has inherited the craftsmanship of the Tohoku region, she works diligently with her own hands, as if cherishing each piece. 

Her current work is themed around a sacred bird that stretches up to 3 meters, a project that has taken about five years to complete. In contemporary art, this work stands out with its simple freshness and strength, completely unrelated to trends, showcasing the rhythm of life and the pulse of the earth in a remarkably dazzling way.

I hope you will stand before Sakamoto Naho's work, "Sacred Bird (Benu),"
and feel the overwhelming heartbeat within it, akin to magma.
